Anyone else's DH/FI/SO do this?

 Will watch 50 minutes of an hour long show and then switch the channel, so you are unable to watch the end of the show.

DH just did that to me.  It's so annoying.  The worst part is I was not interested in Orange County Choppers to begin with, but damm it if you are going to make we watch 50 minutes of the show I want to see the finished bike..

Okay, vent over.






What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Ok I admit it....I own the remote control.  I give him the Sunday/Monday football, but any other time I pick.  And if he is watching something I don't want to see I ask if we can watch one of my shows and he always says yes. 

    And he loves my shows....Top Model, Project Runway, Gossip Girl...he watches them all with me:)

    We both have time where the tv is "ours". For instance, when Friends or Say Yes to the Dress is on, he just has to suffer until it's over. For him, CSI: NY and football. Otherwise, it's pure wrestling-for-the-remote.
