My fiance thinks it's rude to request songs for the DJ. Granted, I've listed 19 "requested but not mandatory" songs for his 3 1/2 hour set... is this offensive? I haven't sent the list to the DJ yet and now I'm having second thoughts. In my mind, we have about 12 truly sentimental songs that I would LOVE to hear at the wedding and I think that I have some right to hear them there! We only have the one day, you know? What do you think? Reception song list: offensive?
