Getting ready to go hiking! Even though it's 100 degrees out. Yaaaaay.

Good morning!  I want to go hiking   Not in 100 degree weather though.

I went to bed at 10pm last night, and I just got up.  I didn't wake up when H came to bed, or got up for his 730a tee time, or to get up and pee (which is the strangest of them all).  I guess I was tired.

Morning all!

FI and I went on an awesome spontaneous Friday night date last night and I'm still smiling from it. We finally stopped at this roadside BBQ place that we have driving past for years saying "we'll have to eat there some time" and never do... and it was amazing! Then we went to a free admission open mic night at this downtown bar for amateur stand up comedians, and it was hilarious. Afterwards we got gelato at this cute little shop and walked around enjoying the perfect weather. Such a nice change of pace from sitting on the couch watching TV.

Unfortunately FI has to work today, so I'm sort of sitting around for now...

I'm supposed to be going shopping in a little bit,I've already taken a nap since being up.

I'm watching Vegas week 1 SYTYCD, and I'm just absolutely mesmerized by the belly dancer.  She's easily my favorite so far, and I'll be so sad if she goes home during Vegas.  I want to see what else she can do.

Vegas week this year was very compelling.  But I wish they had made it more than one episode.  I'd watch an episode of each ROUND of Vegas week.

I would too.  I'd love to see a little more of each person doing each style.  I really want to see some of my favorites from auditions do each style.

So far my favorites are the belly dancer, and the tiny little adorable blonde latin ballroom girl with the braces.  Oh my god, she's the cutest little thing I've ever seen in my whole life.

She is really cute.  She's good too.  I don't have a favorite yet.  Last year at this time Melanie was my favorite.

I was super sad about the exorcist guy and the other dragon house guy not being able to cut the hip hop, but I'm glad they kept the last guy (even though he really stunk up the joint during hip hop).  Hip hop is as far as I am right now though, so who knows what's going to happen.

I really want to see Whitney (that's the cute little blonde right?) do something that's NOT sexy.  I'm sad we didn't get to see her do hip hop.

And all of this is why we need Vegas week to be more than one episode.  Then they could also show the entire top twenty.  It's annoying that we spend a ton of time on people that get cut, and then have never seen half of the top twenty.  You'd think they could at least work in showing their original auditions and spend less time on stupid bacon montages.

Good morning.  We were going to go for a hike this morning, but we slept in instead.  And it's already hot as balls outside.  We may hang out at the pool for a bit this afternoon.  We'll see.  I need to do some shopping

Help me not kill my husband:  3 months ago, he had to get a new phone, because his went through the wash (seriously).  So he goes out and buys a $300 Razr Maxx.  Fine, we needed new phones soon anyway.  Now he just called me from his golf partner's phone to tell me if someone calls from his number that isn't him, it's because he lost his phone.  HE LOST HE THREE MONTH OLD THREE HUNDRED FUUUCKING DOLLAR PHONE.

He paid for it so I really have no reason to be angry, but FUUUCKING SERIOUSLY?

That would piss me off too J.  If you're going to spend so much damn money on a phone, be careful with it.

I don't even have a smartphone.  Mine makes phone calls, sends texts and has an alarm clock.  that's all I need.

Morning. I want to quilt something, but of course, none of my existing fabric will do. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying a bunch of fabric online. I really need to be talked out of it, otherwise I'll fall for the "free shipping on orders over $200" offer.

Tell me this is fug so I don't buy all of it. The second photo shows all the prints that come with it. I'd be buying five or six packs, plus a corresponding solid. 

I have no self control.

I guess I just don't get it, because I lose shiiit all the time, but I've NEVER lost my phone.  I dropped one in the toilet once when I was shitcannned drunk in college, and I learned from it.  I don't know, I always make sure I know where my phone is before I leave the house, or leave from anywhere I was at.  But that's just me, and he just texted me that they found it, so I'm quite glad for that.

And everyone that told me that giving medication to Box Kitty would get easier as we got better at it and she got used to it?  Yeah, we're definitely better at it, she's also getting better at avoiding it.  Hmpf.
