My grandmother used to have the talk radio station on in her kitchen all the time and would listen to Dr. Laura. And Ruch Limbaugh. And then complain because my grandma was a huge fan of Bill Clinton and they were clearly not. *sigh*

She's actually quitting because she doesn't like that she's losing her freedom of speech.  You know, because people complained that she's a bloody racist?  Yeah.

yeah, she's trying to make herself sound like a martyr for free speech.  No, crazy lady, you can still say what you want, but no one else has to like it or you.

Nooo, that's probably the best way to be about Dr. Laura.  I used to listen to her show to laugh at her and her callers.  Not exactly intelligent.

Good. Dr. Phil needs to be next.  They both give us therapists a bad wrap.

Pisses me off that she tries to give therapy advice when she is not a therapist.  Her PhD is in physiology, not psychology or therapy/counseling.  Give advice about exercise, not marital or mental health advice.

In grad school, one of my professors used to have long rants about how much he hates the two of them.  I can't stand to listen to either of them because they go against everything I was taught.
