Helloo! Confused bridesmaid here, and would appreciate your help on this.
Ok, so this is the first wedding I'm going to be in, and most of the bridal party is pretty new at this as well (college girlfriends). We're trying to put together the invitations for our best friend's bridal shower. I used to do some (small) graphic design stuff, so I tried mocking up a potential invite. Now I know for wedding invitations it is bad etiquette to put registry information -- but should I for the bridal shower, since the purpose is basically gift giving? I've tried to search this and seem to get some conflicting answers.
Additionally, my friends really want to put together a wishing well for the shower. It seems (again after some searching), that in other places a wishing well is for cash? But around here, a wishing well is a decorated container for small home goods -- sponges, cutting boards, cleaning brushes, that sort of thing. How do I word this on the invite so people know the can but aren't required to bring a small gift for the wishing well? The last shower I went to had one but I didn't know, and I felt silly for not picking up something small to add. Or is this totally not kosher at all?
Thanks for your help ladies -- I appreciate it!
edited- missed a word!
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend ...
