inviting more quests

I am a motb who limited her list due to venue size and motg list.  All the respones are in and ther is room.. Can i invite 10 more people on my original list?

No, you don't get to invite more.  If they were important enough to be invited, they would have been on the list from the beginning.  Use the money savings to spoil the guests that do attend.

I agree with PPs you cannot invite more people at this point, it's b-listing.  Regarding the bolded part of your post, I am curious as to why MOTG was given more invites than you?  Who is paying for the wedding?  If it's your daugher and her FI then they should have split the guest list into thirds (1/3 for you, 1/3 for MOTG, and 1/3 for your daugher and her FI).  If you are paying for the wedding you should have had a say in how many spots the MOTG was being given as it doesn't seem right that you would cut your list to accommodate someone who is not funding the wedding..  If MOTG is paying well then I guess she can invite as many people as she wants and limit your guest list.
