Good photo backgrounds around City Hall?

We're getting married at the NYC Marriage Bureau and then will have a few hours to take pictures in the immediate vicinity before going to our reception at City Hall Restaurant (Duane and Church Streets).  We want to wander around that area and find some great NYC street/park scenes to serve as photo backgrounds.  Anyone else find good places to take pics around there?  Obviously the Brooklym Bridge and City Hall park are right there, but I'm also looking for more nontraditional things, like interesting architecture, industrial-looking places, bright graffiti, lawns, quiet little corners, etc.

i second the seaport.. old front street and peck slip have a great cobblestone area and you can get the brooklyn bridge as your backdrop. Last time i was over there they were doing construction though.. so be sure to check on that. There's always wall street for those old new yorky type of photos. tons of tourists but they'll be polite and let you take your photos
