Logistics with Having More Groomsmen Than Maids

I have 2 attendants and FI has 4. I'm just looking for ideas for the logistics of this. 

I've thought of maybe having each girl escorted by 2 GM but I'm not sure if this would look funny to people or not. 

Anyone have any input? Maybe what you did at your own weddings, or plan to do? Or even what you've seen at other weddings?

    Just have everyone walk out single file. Don't add people to fill spots.
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    That was a long story for a short question.  Just have two groomsmen escort one bm, or have everyone single file.  No big deal.

    Yeah, the first part was more of a rant than anything. I just wanted to get out my frustration. And now it's out so I feel better about it.

    Thanks for the replies. I hadn't thought of everyone leaving single file, so thanks for that idea for those that mentioned it. And it doesn't seem like anyone finds the two guys escorting one maid weird so we may go with that.

    I was in a wedding as a BM with almost double the amount of GM.  I was escorted by 2 GM along with another BM.  No one said anything about it looking weird.

    My sister's husband had 10 GM's (yea you read that right) and she had 6 BM's. Everyone walked single file, all the guys first, then all the girls.

    I saw somewhere a modification where the groom and his guys came in first, either thru a side door or down the aisle.  Then the maids one by one, then the bride.  Leaving should be exactly the opposite - ladies first :)
