If the maid of honor is a PhD/college professor commonly referred to by her title, is that title put on the wedding program? Traditional etiquette seems to be that the female wedding participants' titles are not acknowledged, but it hardly seems fair to ignore her accomplishments, especially when the groomsmen with titles (one military lieutenant and one PhD) will be recognized. Thoughts?
