My grandmother called me this past Saturday afternoon and said, "I don't know if you've thought about what you'd like for your wedding band yet, but I have Mother's (my great grandmother) old wedding band. You're more than welcome to it if you want it." I've been googling and looking for something that would look right with my e-ring for a few months now. I went and tried some on at a jewelry store, found one I liked, but wasn't in love with. My grandmother came over for dinner tonight and brought me the ring. It's so gorgeous and it means so much that my entire wedding set is heirloom stuff. I'm really honored to have my grandmothers' jewelry for my wedding set. Sorry to get all cheesy and sappy, but it made me really happy. I don't know how people photograph jewelry, cause I darn sure can't. This isn't actually it, but it's pretty close to this:
It looks perfect with my e-ring. Now it's all I can do not to wear it out of the house.
