Oh my goodness! I'm glad it worked out for you and you were safe while looking.  Those blizzards were craaaazy!  Happy to hear you like the area so far!  Arlington is a cool place. And yes, Silver Spring is in MD, off the red line metro. 

Good luck on the job search! A degree from Purdue looks great on your resume  so I'm sure you'll find something   I've actually had people ask me if its an Ivy League school before, haha.
