[QUOTE]evening!  I'm at work, not doing much of anything right now to be honest.  why is it when someone sends a text to 10 people ALL of them have to do 'reply all'?  I've been getting messages the past ten minutes from a boatload of relatives after one text sent by my SIL.  annoying.

  • Evening all! I'm trying to decide what I want to do with my alone time tonight. It's a tie between watch a chick flick and paint my nails or read my book.

Eagles, I love it when one of the dogs curls up under the blankets with me. I don't know how they aren't overheated either but it helps my toes stay warm :)
  • Melissa- love the shoes, where are they from?

We are just hanging out at home tonight.
  • Thanks Megs - they are Kate Spade Vonya sandals - they come in a bunch of different colors but I love the green. It's my favorite color and my mom keeps trying to talk me out of wearing them under my dress until at least the reception, but it's a floor length dress so I don't care and I love them!
  • I love the idea of colored shoes with the wedding dress! I'm trying to decide between red or tiffany blue for my shoes.
  • I love them. I wore green flip flops for my wedding.
  • That's so cute! I love it when one of the dogs wants to cuddle. Especially in the winter.

ah.  Yeah, the main offenders all have iPhones, so that explains that!

I really really really wanted pink shoes but couldn't find any I liked and then the fitting was coming up so I panicked and ordered a white pair off Amazon.  I like them a lot, I just wish they were pink!

  • Fourth one? He's not leaving any for you! I read somewhere that chocolate is like crack for dogs.
  • Maybe that's his problem lol :P He ate a spicy one so I think his poops are gonna hurt. *shaking head* Well I am off for the night! Good night all :D

[QUOTE]Hey Eagles - are you still around?  I saw your thread about the oil cleansing earlier today, and I'm really intrigued (if J&K sees this too, that would be helpful).  Do you have any good websites that give a lot of information?  The one I found told me to "put the oil on your face and let it sit there until you feel your pores clearing out."  I figured that's great, but I need a timeframe here.  5 minutes?  15?  30 seconds?   Also, it was suggested that the more I THINK about it working, the better it will work.  Hm.

There was a night time thread (I believe) earlier this week where J&K talks about her oil cleansing routine. I know she said she works it in, puts a warm rag on her face until it cools, heats it up again, puts it on her face again, and on and off for 10-15 minutes or until she gets bored. Then she wipes the oil off her face. She also had a breakdown of the different types of oil she uses. Mel was asking her about it.

Are you thinking of opening a shop? This sounds fun!

  • I'm just hanging as well, watching The Wonder Years. I guess I'm lame too.
  • Evening! I just signed up for Netflix and found the movie Drive Me Crazy on it (it was talked about in the night thread last night). I pretty much love Netflix.

  • Our long-term goal is to open a store. We're planning to do a few sales at county fairgrounds etc to come up with the capital for a store. Then I plan to open a vintage resale right next door. I love how I'm always making up completely plausible and logical plans for my life.

  • I know! I was so excited when I was flipping through the movies and saw it.

  • Why is starting and directing a marathon out there?
  • I organized my soroty's first 5k. It was actually pretty easy to do. Just need a few months to plan. Is there a local chapter? Maybe they'd be interested in doing something new for their philanthropy?
  • Yea, as I sat here I started thinking about how much bigger a marathon is than a 5k. That does sound kinda difficult but it sounds like you already know exactly what to do. You should definitely try to do it sometime!
  • A university wide thon-event would be really fun!
  • Hi ladies, I'm watching the 2003 version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and pinning. I should be doing homework, but you know...

Organizing a marathon seems like a huge challenge, but incredibly rewarding. I'd love to be a part of something like that.

  • Oh I like that Chrissy. I've never noticed how none of them are for prevention before.
  • I want to do so many DIY projects, but I've never done anything big before. Like I've never worked with tools and wood work. I can do wreaths and little decorations all day, but I'm intimidated to start something big.

I'm suppose to start a headboard in a few months and hopefully I can start refinishing H's old dresser sometime after that. I'm so nervous to start both of them, but I think they'll be so much fun to do once I get started.

  • Veggie, have you seen the blog Twice Lovely? I'm always inspired by her stuff. It makes me want to refurnish everything in our place!
  • What's shakin, kids?  I'm KUI and need entertainment
