The 19 Days of Harry Potter: 9 Days to Go!

Woohoo, single digits!

It's your first ever trip to Diagon Alley and you've just learned that your dead parents have left you a fortune in your vault in Gringott's. What shop do you visit first and what do you buy?

  • Ollivander's of course!  A wizard has to have a wand.

The shop with the broomsticks to buy a Firebolt.  Word.

  • I would go straight to Quality Quiddtich Supplies and buy the fastest broomstick on the market.

  • I'm a nerd and love to read, so probably Flourish and Blotts to buy a bunch of books. Ollivander's would be a close second.

  • I'd get a pet, first thing. Probably an owl.

  • You buy the latest and greatest broomstick out there!  And of course buy them ALL so that only my Quidditch team had them.
  • Hmmm...I'd like to say Ollivander's, but I'd probably go to Madame Malkin's and get my robes first.  I'm not aware of any shoe stores in Diagon Alley, so, I'd go for the robes.

  • Oooh, tough question.

I think I'd head to Ollivander's first and the kid in me would want to go to Honeydukes - but I think getting a broom would win out and I'd go to Quality Quidditch Supplies.

  • Hmmm....I'd have to say Quality Quiddich Supplies for a broom. Then Ollivander's for my wand. Of course being left a big sum of money would lead me to every store at Diagon Alley to buy whatever I wanted. :-)

  • Leaky Culdron and try to buy myself some butterbeer. Yes, I'm 11, but money can buy you anything!
I iz not Bridezilla.imageI iz Veloceraptor!

    FOR SALE!!.

  • I'd want a pet too, although would I know I needed one? From an 11 year old's perspective, I'd want a broomstick.
  • Ollivander's then Eeylops for an owl, although I'd still go to the Magical Menagerie just to look at all the other animals.
  • Weasley's Wizard Wheezes!!!

  • Probably Three Broomsticks to get some food (it was amazing at WWoHP) then I'd go get my wand.
