I am thinking about looking at a venue for my small-ish wedding that fits all of my and my FI's requirements. The only thing is that one of my closest friends JUST had her wedding at the same place this past June. We are close enough that I have no problem coming out and asking her if she would be bothered if I chose the same venue, and I know she would give me an honest answer, but before I even approach it with her, what do you think?
If one of your bridesmaids (I was a BM in her wedding and hope she will be a BM in mine) booked a wedding at the same venue for a year and four months later, would you be annoyed and think she was copying you, or would you be flattered?
I should add that I'M not even sure if I want to do this. It might not feel as special and unique an experience if I get ready in the same bridal suite, end up with the same room for the reception, take some of the same photos, etc. Just not sure yet!
