order of wedding reception

Hi everyone,
I am trying to figure out the order of our wedding reception.  After the entrance of the bridal party and ourselves.  What comes next?  We are jewish, so we will be having the typical jewish dances, but what comes next?

Our dance, father-daughter, mother-son etc.  at what points during the night should we have each dance and speeches from the best men and matron of honor?

any help would be great!

thanks and happy planning!

  • This was my order for a jewish wedding:

    Entrance
(we did not have the bridal party enter - only ourselves)
We also entered half way into cocktail hour - was great idea cause able to say hi to people and did not take away from our time later in the night.

Reintroduced at the end of cocktail hour

    1. first dance
    2. hora
    3. Sat for food
    4. speeches
The order was bride's father, groom's father, best man, moh
    Each introduced the next
    5. Father daughter dance
    6. Mother-son dance
    7. more partying
    8. cake cutting

    hope this helps.
