I understand that people want their guests to be happy and have a great time at their wedding but I also wonder why people worry so much about offending anyone. People will always be offended about something so why stress over making everyone happy when it's impossible? There are just too many rules when it comes to weddings and the events that surround them. It's the bride and grooms day and anyone who would go out of their way to attend their wedding obviously cares for them and should understand that it's not about them. Why should I have to have a vegetarian option at my own wedding if I like meat? Why should I have an open bar when I provide plenty of free no alcoholic beverages? Why should I pretend I need another blender when I would prefer cash? Why do I have to invite all of my immediate family to the rehearsal dinner when all I want is a quite and intimate night the hours before I get married? It's about the couple getting married. It shouldn't be about the couple worrying about everyone else's feelings.
