How long have you two been together?

Tomorrow it will be 5 years for Nick and me.  It doesn't feel that long, but then I look at pictures of when we first started dating and we look so young.

FI and I have been together a little over 6 years now.


For some reason I can't find anything on my computer even close to when we started dating, but this was about 4 years ago at our friend's wedding in Wisconsin.

Almost 2 years together but have known eachother since 2nd grade.

Way late to this thread but we've been together 3.5 or 3 years (depends on which one of us you ask).  Here's our first picture together 6 months after I think we started dating.  It was taken about 5 minutes after he told me he loved me for the first time.

Ummm 6 and a bit, I THINK. Might be 7 but im not positive. Im pretty sure its 6. The bulk of my pictures of us together are from when I moved in, he had most of our before then photos and has no idea where they went.

It'll be six years on our wedding day. I'd have to look for pictures...I think his sister has the files she she took them. She has a habit of giving me just the print.

A little over 5 1/2 years now.  No picture because I'm at work but that's for the best.  It would have been one where we both looked awful:  him with his bad acne and me with my "baby fat".  yeah, it's better this way.

We will have been together 8 years this October. I was 18 and FI had just turned 19 when we officially started dating.. I can't believe it has been so long.

This is not the best picture of us since it is from the back, but it's the only old one I can find on this computer. We were walking the streets of Greenwich Village in NY and my friend snapped a picture of us from behind. I think we had been together about 6 months here.

I don't really have our photos here at work.  But, here's a photo from the summer right before we started dating.  DH basically fell in love with me that day.  The second is from right after we started dating, a couple months later.

Our first date was on Halloween in 2008. I was very blonde. I think that's why he liked me at first. Maybe I'll go back to that after the wedding?

We met in October '06. We "technically" started dating in July '07. So almost 3 years. We're getting married in October '10, so we will have been together over 3 years and known each other for about 4 years.

It actually doesn't seem long at all when I meet people who have been with their FIs for 10 years, or dating someone for 5 years, then broke it off. I've never dated anyone for 5 years! Then I think that my parents dated for 9 months and were engaged for 9 months, so a year and a half total before their wedding.

The red-headed girl is one of my BMs. The shorter guy next to her is the guy who introduced me and FI. He's one of our GMs. FI is in the blue striped shirt on the right. The other two people in this pic went to grad school with FI and our GM, but we don't really hang out with them anymore. It was our GM's birthday party.

Also-I just read the redhead comments.  I have been red my whole life, as is my sister and neither of our parents or granparents have redhair.  However, there is red hair on both sides in my family.  My boyfriend's brother is a ginger too and neither of Mark's parents have red hair either.  As such, it is entirely possible that if hell froze over and pigs flew and we had kids, that they could be redheads even though Mark is not.

It's been two years and seven months. Our first photo together was taken about 4 1/2 months after we started dating - before that it was always one of us taking pictures of the other.
