Anyone done it? Can this even been done?
My husband and I haven't been asked yet, but my SIL sent us a message hinting at it. We're having dinner with her tomorrow night.
Husband and I are so not religious, and while we don't get the godparent thing at all, we don't want to disrespect it by being shitty godparents.
We love our niece, but just don't think it's appropriate since we are not religious.
Thoughts? Can we even say no? Or do we just go along with it and play make believe at the church?
