What's everyones plans for today? Besides not being on TK?

I'm laying around for a little while then getting up to clean. FI should be off work around 2 and we're going to Ikea and Target to pick out Christmas presents. Yay!

I'm here.  I was waiting for the sun to come up a little more before I took the dog for a walk.  Our complex is pretty safe, but I'm still not going to be an idiot and walk with an iPod on when its pitch black out. 

I don't have much else planned for the day.  I gotta run up to the NEX because I saw a t-shirt I want to get H for his next care package, and then watching football.  I need to bake cookies to send him at some point too today.

I'm going to continue my cleaning/organizing streak and watch a lot of football.  H took our best man to the game today for his b-day (the best man's b-day, not H's).

I did a lot of cleaning yesterday Loopy, and even went out and bought a few new cleaning supplies.  That always encourages me to clean a little bit.  I'm such a sucker for getting new things.

I have a pile of empty boxes in the kitchen... too bad trash pickup was yesterday morning.  What should I do with a pile of empty boxes for a week?

H decided it would be a good idea to save every box from like, everything ever bought for the house - so if we move we can put it back in the original box... I finally convinced him to get rid of most of them.  They don't square up well anyway, so they're actually a pain in the neck to pack in a truck cause they're all different sizes.

Today is FI's birthday, so he decided that instead of one really nice meal today, he'd rather have three pretty good meals. We're having donuts right now (for once his idea, not mine), he's having sushi for lunch, then we're going out for fish and chips tonight. I already spent way too much money for his birthday, so I'm glad he didn't want something like filet mignon! Or lobster! (Being in the midwest, we can't get good fresh lobster anyway.)

So my darling husband made a pot of coffee this morning before I got up.  He says 'Oh I used the can with the yellow lid."  Um.... the one that says ESPRESSO on it.  Yep, he made a pot of espresso and has been drinking it like regular coffee.

DNB - good call.  The elementary school is across the street.  Maybe we'll take them to the dumpster over ther.

KJB - HA - I LOVE the way coffee smells, but why does it have to taste so awful?

Hahahaha thats pretty hilarious KJB.  I really need another cup of coffee right now but don't want to go downstairs.  At least I left the Keurig on so it will be ready in 30 seconds.  Ooh I got this holiday mixed box the other day, and one of the flavors is golden french toast.  It's simply amazing.

i love the french toast!  i got my parents a keuring for watching beefy - so of course i had to try it.  that's my favorite flavor for sure.  i'm afraid of the gingerbread though.

Once in a while I'll have a sip of H's latte's and I'm always like "nope, still don't like it".  

Oh well, I'll just have an easier time when I'm pregnant (a year from now.. or so) cause I won't have to get off the caffeine .

I've tried the gingerbread and it was pretty good.  I had to buy a regular creamer for all those coffee flavors since I always have the flavored creamers in the house.  I usually don't put sugar in my coffee if I have a flavored creamer.  My favorite right now is the Peppermint Mocha.  I also love the Italian Sweet Creme one.

That is what I fear most about getting pregnant.  I get really bad headaches if I don't have caffiene so I'm probably going to be miserable for the first few months.

i ususally only drink coffee at work, and we only have plain creamer.  but i try not to do sugar if i us a flavored creamer.  aw man, i don't want to go back to work tomorrow.

I don't know who would get us one.  My parents are giving us money towards Beefy's surgery.  ILs gave us american express giftcards, so I'm guessing we're not getting one.  That's ok.

Good morning ladies!

I'm here. Nothing much for the hubs and I today. He is on call, so that pretty much confines us to the house or at least not too far away from it.

We are making breakfast/brunch: omlettes, pancakes w/blueberries and sausage links. Yummy.

After that, I will probably do the dishes. Then, motivate myself to finish the Christmas decorations and maybe vaccum before we go to church this evening.
