A couple of times recently when I have been to an event where you typically bring a gift (baby shower, bridal shower, etc.) I have been asked to fill out an envelope with my address for the gift receiver to use when sending out Thank You notes. Personally, I think this is rude. The guests have taken the time to buy you a gift and to come celebrate you at your party and you can't be bothered to write their names and addresses on Thank You cards? Give me a break! Am I overreacting? What do you think, is this tacky or not?
