I mean, I'm still sick, and I have a full clinic and a 3 hour lecture to give, but still.  Tomorrow is Saturday!

Weekend plans?  Anything?  C'mon, are we really ready to let TK/E die?

Morning. I woke up at 5:45 with anxiety and wasn't able to fall back to sleep, so here I am. I have work in an hour and I'll probably be dragging by mid-morning. Hopefully I can get both kids down for a nap at the same time so I can sneak one in too!

Good Morning!  I hope you feel better soon Mica.  I'm at work until noon, I feel like I've barely worked this week but I'm so ready for the weekend!  I'm going wedding dress shopping with my sister and mom tomorrow, that should be fun.

Ooh, wedding dress shopping!  If my sister wasn't a psycho engaged to a loser, I'd love to do it from this side.  I need to adopt a new sister.

Wedding dress shopping for other people just makes me really want to try on dresses again, haha. I loved wedding dress shopping, although it was a lot more tiring than I had anticipated.. I remember being absolutely dead after my first appointment.

Morning everyone. Cheyenne woke me up before 5 and I couldnt fall back to sleep. I stayed in bed in this half sleepy, half mind racing mode until my alarm went off. Today is my last day in the office I've been in for just under two years. I'm really going miss it when I'm moved to an office without windows. FI and I will probably just hang around tomorrow relaxing since I have to travel for work on Sunday.

Yea, I think I'm more excited to help her plan her wedding than I was for even mine.  I really just love her FI so much though and he's probably the first guy she's ever been with that I just instantly loved for her.  He's good people.  She wants me to try on dresses tomorrow too but man I feel like a chunk chunk.  lol.

Morning, all. I am prepared for post-football game stadium cleanup tonight - I have a box of trash bags and rubber gloves in the car, just waiting for me. Tomorrow the girls have riding lessons at 11, and older daughter is supposed to be working a carwash for chorus from 10-2 tomorrow. Not quite sure how I'm going to clone her so she can be in both places at once, but anyway. It's supposed to be stormy tomorrow, so that carwash will probably get canceled anyway. Sunday my mom has offered to come over and help me clean house/weed out unwanted stuff, so I'm going to take her up on that offer.

1 more week until September break!!! My mom has generously rented us a house at the beach on the SC coast, on one of the barrier islands. My dad can't come with us, nor can H, so it's just going to be a girl's week. Should be fun.

good morning everybody, mica hate that you are sick, well vibes to you. 

I do not want E board to die, but I am a horrible poster, I get to work and before I know it morning is over.  I also do not have a window in my office, but church member painted a picture of a window for me.  Kindness. 

Crazy sister 1 called last night and said "oh I moved to Florida, didn't I tell you?"  Um, no, last week you still lived in Kentucky.  Wow.

Yesterday was our anniversary.  It was a quiet night at home. DH cooked dinner.    

Weekend plans?  I'm working 4 hours tomorrow, then just laying low.  DH is working all weekend and then all week to get ready for next weekend.  He leaves on Thursday  to cook in OH.

ETA - oops, I forgot to say MICA - sorry you are not feeling well.  Get better soon.

Got a job inteview this morning at 11am.  Not sure if I want it if it's offered.  I have an interview next week at the college in the box office for the preforming arts.  I worked at the college before (work study) and would rather work there.

MIGHT go apple picking this weekend but really don't think there will be anything to pick.

Good morning!  MIca, I'm sorry you're not feeling well

I have a pretty open weekend, though I'm trying to fill it up.  Tomorrow I want to do some shopping then I'm going to the fair with two girl friends.  Sunday is the Patriots' game and then knit night with friends.  Somewhere in there I'm going to have to do my homework too.  I'll find the time.

Button, offices with no windows are the worst.  One of my classrooms has no windows, and I always feel like we're gathered in someone's basement.  I hate it.

Today is H's birthday so we're having some people over for a game night, then tomorrow who knows what since the 90% chance of rain is kind of ruining our Coney Island experience. Sunday is my birthday and both of our immediate families are getting together for lunch.

Thanks Stacks! That does seem cold, especially with the rain that is supposed to accompany it. Boo.

Which reminds me, it only rained for the first part of the game last Saturday, plus it was an epic stoppage time win for the Crew. Our friend gave us two more tickets to another game for free too.

Oh nice!  I'm glad the rain didn't mess with you too bad too.  We never did get the buckets of rain last weekend they kept saying we'd get.

Bay and Stacks, I will really miss the light.  And being able to see the weather, and clear cell reception, and the president's motorcade, and the Running Man (this guy who runs in circles in the street and shouts as he does it).

My best friend/MOH's mom is in really bad shape.  She was rushed to the hospital yesterday- I guess she a pulmonary embolism.  She was looking better yesterday afternoon but everything went downhill pretty fast.  I feel horrible because MOH just moved to a new city and she's alone when this is happening.  And I feel extra horrible about it because I'm traveling for work next week, if we lose her I dont think I'll be able to make the services. Her mom and I are friends, too, and they are like family. 

Now I just Negative Nancy-ed the morning thread.  Sorry, guys.

I feel really guilty too, because she called me a couple times recently and it was always the worst time to talk and I never got to call her back. 

I'm going to go run some errands (I have to mail my food swap package!) and then I get to go into mega packing mode.

Lynda, I never heard how you guys made it through Isaac. I saw your updates during the storm, but didn't see whether you had lots of damage or anything like that?

As for me, we're in for a low-key weekend which will be nice. Only plans thus far is dinner tonight with some lady friends.

Morning all... I'm taking my LBS I exam tomorrow for my state certification and I'm beginning to freak out. I've never had test anxiety until college. Oye. I'm going to switch to a computer here soon since TK mobile sucks and catch up on the morning thread...
