Today, FI and I are having supper at FMIL's house (it's pretty lax-ed so I'm TK-ing). Well, she checked her answering machine today and got a message from the bride of a wedding we attended this past weekend.
It was something like, "Hello FMIL, thank you so much for attending our lovely day! It was such a joy to see you there. Blah blah blah."
No one seemed to think this was weird. But I'm praying a TY card comes in the mail.
