because i didn't drink a 2-6 of espresso vodka and 3 bottles of wine with 3 girlfriends last night.  oh and i definitely didn't throw up.  twice.  there goes my 3 year puke free streak.

I always get the hangover the same night -- headache starts while I drink. So I usually just drink some water and go to bed.

Greasy food does seem to help if it lasts. Not sure why, but I always crave salty fries when I have a headache.

Me neither, Snip.  I was hungover 1 time in college.  And it sucked.  Since then, I think maybe 3 times?  I guess we're lucky, cause lord knows I like to drink.

I took a nap, watched a girly movie and had mcdonalds.  I am feeling so much better.  Oh and I took 2 advil for the headache.  Oh and let's not forget the blizzard I have hanging out in the freezer for later

Glad you're feeling better, mandy. 

When I lived in Chicago I lived down the street from this bar/restaurant called the Twisted Spoke.  They had this fried egg sandwich, which, along with a bloody mary, was the best hangover cure I ever found.  I can't tell you how many times I walked in there feeling like hell and walked out feeling like a million bucks.  Ahh, youth.

I think so.  I lived on Roscoe, and the one I used to go to was on the corner of Clark and Roscoe and I actually think that one might be closed now.  There's another one on the west side, on Ogden I think?  I am pretty sure they have bikes out front.  I still miss that sandwich and I moved away over 5 years ago!

The bloody marys are served with a garnish of olives, onions, and salami.  And they have parmesan cheese on top and are served with a shot of beer on the side.  So good.

Grease and chocolate milkshakes do wonders for me, too.  Also, the VitaRain water from Costco is a miraculous cure-all when I have it around.  It's just like Vitamin Water but sugar free.  And I think it must also contain some magic fairy dust or something.

My preventative hangover cure before passing out is anything from Taco Bell covered in Fire sauce, water and ibuprofen.

if you take a couple ibuprofen and a glass of water before going to sleep (after drinking) it avoids the hang over.
