Invitation Wording

How would I word the invitation for our situation:
My fiance and I are paying for everything (aiming for $12,000 budget); however, my parents gave us $1,000 towards it.  His parents are not contributing so I want to make sure to acknowledge my folks if it's proper but not offend them either.  Suggestions????

You should write invitations in the 3rd and not 1st person.
