AW: The Amazing Race

I just found out today that 2 of my friends and triathlon training buddies made it onto the Amazing Race. The new season starts in February. If you watch it, please root for Jody and Shannon. I am so jealous!!!  That show is great and I would love to go on.  I'd have to have a partner who could eat gross things, though, because that is something I don't think I could do.  But it looks like an amazing experience and a chance to see some really awesome places you wouldn't otherwise get to see.

Yes, she is a fiesty old lady. She did her first triathlon at age 69, and her first olympic distance at age 71. I want to be just like her when I grow up, and I tell her that all the time.

FI would eat the gross stuff. Soon after we met he said, "So, I know you're a vegetarian, but would you eat insects?" Uh, I wouldn't eat insects even if I wasn't a vegetarian. He asked because there's this crazy restaurant in LA that had insect food, like roasted grasshoppers. He's curious about it.
