I spoke with my MOH last night, and she's in the process of planning my b-party. She asked if I'd be open to having my b-party on the Friday night before the wedding (we're having a Sunday wedding, RD is Saturday night). I live in Chicago, wedding is in Minneapolis, and all BMs are in/near Chicago except for my MOH, who is in the Bay Area. She said she'd be happy to plan a party for me over the summer in Chicago but wouldn't be able to afford to attend.
I really want my MOH to be there, and it would be nice for my BMs to not feel the need to travel more than once (they were all planning on being there by Friday anyway). I'm a bit nervous about having my b-party right before the wedding, especially since we're doing so much DIY. However, I don't want to inconvenience my BMs, financially or time-wise. It's not going to be a blackout drunkfest, but we'll definitely be staying out late and partying. WDYT?
