I'm 41 with 2 daughters.  I am about to get married for the 2nd time.  What is appropriatre to wear?

Whatever you want and is appropriate for your body type.  Plenty of second time brides wear white, even veils. You could do anything from dressing in a nice dress (or whatever would be appropriate for the formality of your event) to an elaborate wedding gown. 

Also, under "special topic wedding boards" there is a whole board dedicated to second weddings.

You can wear anything that you like and suits the formality of your wedding. 

There's no rule of "no while" for second time bride.  Wear what makes you feel beautiful!

You also many have a large wedding if you wish.  The days of "just family" for second time brides are over :)

Try the 40-plus board too.  Good people there and it gets a bit more activity than the second wedding board.

This will be my second marriage.  I plan to wear a white all lace wedding gown with a pretty flower hair clips and a sash.  I didn't have any wedding dress the first time so I'm making sure I get a wedding dress this time.

Congratulations! Wear whatever makes you feel beatiful on your wedding day. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't wear a wedding dress or have a big wedding.
