Hi Everyone! My fiance and I are having a bit of trouble deciding whether or not to include the fact that we are moving to Japan the week after the wedding somewhere on either our invite or RSVP card. We are considering including
"Come and celebrate with us one last time before we head off for Japan"
The reason behind this is that we would like to subtly hint at the fact that we would prefer not to receive any large gifts. We're hesitant though for two reasons. First of all it take away from the true reason for the invitation (the actual wedding) and secondly it might sound a bit show-offish. What does everyone think???
