What goes well with maroon linen?

I am not good with colors and am having a tough time picking.  Anyways, my venue offers linen in white or maroon.  Instead of spending money on linens I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what would go well with maroon linens?    Thanks

    what about silver or gold?  i always tend to lean more towards silver.

    i hear ya.  i was relieved when i picked my colours because i could start planning bridesmaids dresses, flowers, etc...

    so a fall wedding?  you know, maroon and grey could be quite nice, they seem to complement each other.  check out this inspiration board.  lime green (i'm thinking the colour of green cymbidium orchids) could really pop against maroon and would be nice and modern... but gold could look nice and rich and fall-y. i guess it depends what feel you're going for...
