Well, that's definitely the answer to all of my problems.

Especially with all the soda and canned beer that I drink, constantly, all the time.

In the infomercial the cans they "drink" from don't have open tabs...they're flat on top.

It's GENIUS!

But I did see something today that I actually thought, "Hey, that could be useful."

It's ever-so-originally called Bottle Top. You snap it onto your can and it gives it a bottle top, claiming to keep it fresher longer and prevent spills.

I am a soda-holic and I prefer them out of cans because they stay colder a little longer, but sometimes I can't finish a whole can (not in the dramatic way that the commercial shows) so it appeals to me.

I would bet that the soda goes flat even with the top on. I've always found that with 20oz plastic bottles, even if I close them and put them in the fridge.

Yep. I wouldn't use them for long-term storage of the soda, probably just if I was going to hop in the shower or something so that I could throw it in the refrigerator.
