H and I have been trying to find a new chinese delivery place ever since we moved into our new house (our old place doesn't deliver to this side of town :-( I really miss China Star..)
ANYWAY. For the last 4 years or so I've been ordering lo mein noodles with my chinese takeout; the long, soft, slightly thicker than spaghetti noodles, like this:

and H gets pan fried noodles, the really skinny noodles that get a little burnt so they're crunchy, like this:

The last TWO places we've tried ordering from have given me the same noodles as H, just not crispy. I don't like it! The first time I thought it was just a mistake, that they thought we ordered double of H's, but now with this second one I'm just confused. Am I ordering wrong? does "lo mein noodles" not mean what I think it means? I've successfully gotten what I wanted at numerous chinese restraunts over the years, but this sudden switch is confusing me (and leaving me seriously disappointed on chinese takeout nights) Help! :-(
