What's up? Is TK working a little better again? I threw together some potato pancakes tonight with leftover potatoes. They were delicious.

Just got back from the gym and waiting for H to get out of the shower so I can hop in.  I could only do 3 miles because my little toe was killing me; I knew I should've worn flats to work today.

So, i attempted to do a good deed by walking H's grandmother's horrible dog.  I get lectured by her nosy neighbors (for not DROPPING THE LEASH when the dog pulls) AND the damned dog practically broke my finger while I was trying to take off her leash.  I hate that dog so much.

She's a terror.  She's always jumping on me when I'm in a ballgown and when I try to stop her, I get guilt for "not liking the dog."  I'd like the dog just fine if she wasn't always trying to jump on me or dislocate my shoulder when walking her -_-  His grandmother needs a nice lazy cocker spaniel instead of a crazy border collie.

Border Collie's are high maintenance/high energy dogs.  Probably not the right fit for grandma.

Hi. I can't see the other night thread either. 

I bought new bras today. Thank GOD for sales, damn expensive things. But, they're pretty, and super comfy/supportive. Plus, I got 4 for $60, which is awesome.

I want ice cream for dinner. It was hot today, and is finally nice outside. I just came in from playing with the dog. Buddy doesn't even know he's sick, which I guess is a good thing. He's just as playful as ever.

H and I went to PetCo tonight, they were doing cat adoptions...oh my gosh there were some cute ones! Older too that were already spayed and neutered, one was gorgeous.

I think that I want a dog though, but I know they are tons more work and H works so much so I would end up training it, so maybe a dog isn't good right now.

How did you not come home with a new kitty friend, Mari?

I want a dog too.  I just want one better suited for a condo than a border collie (i.e. smaller and calmer).  Ideally a yorkie.  We're just not home enough right now.

Oh it was super hard!

I would love a yorkie! They are so cute! We have a house but with our work schedules so varied i'm not sure a dog is the best idea for us right now.

Don't discount a larger dog, just cause you're in a condo.  A lot of larger breed dogs are lower key than small dogs.  My 90 lb Autumn just lays around with us most of the time but she's always up for a good walk/hike when we're doing that too.

I love seeing the kitties at PetCo. I went over the weekend, and there was a big fluffy black one that I wanted so bad. He was huge, and super cute.

Well, it's also that we don't have a yard!  I feel bad having a big dog in a small space with nowhere to roam.  And I'm allergic to all of the outdoors, so they woudn't get taken on nice long hikes.  But with a yorkie?  Chase them around the dining room table a few times and they're wiped for the day!  (I might speak from experience...)

See we have a yard but I don't know I guess i'm nervous the dog wouldn't get the care and time that it needs.

Muni- get a great dane- they are supposedly GREAT apt dogs. But they don't live very long, so there's that. For what it's worth, we have 2 pretty big dogs in our apt and they seem ok. Dogs sleep a lot during the day. If you make sure to exercise them enough, they should be ok.

And Mari-I guarentee you could find a dog through a shelter that is already housebroken and that knows basic commands. Just don't adopt a puppy! Those are the trouble makers.

No puppy! Geez I don't have the time that is needed there. So yeah that may be a good idea, I will have to think on that. I would love to rescue an older dog.
