Sweet things your FI/H does for you...

Be an AW and tell me!  I'm in the mood for cute stuff today.  Humor me.

Yesterday I told FI how Pioneer Woman is going on a small book tour and coming to my town and how I planned on going to get a cookbook signed.  He told me he knew all about it and he was going to go surprise me and get one signed for me as a gift.  I just thought it was really sweet of him, especially because lately he's been so busy with this big project he hasn't had hardly any time to talk to me.  Alas, the nearest book signing to where he was in MI was alll the way in...Tennessee.

  • Hmmm, let's see. He's really very sweet and thoughtful most days. Yesterday, I was having lunch with my MIL and he left money on the counter with a note saying it was to treat his favorite ladies to lunch.

Last week we were shopping and I was getting frustrated - I've gained 8lb since the wedding and am not dealing well - and he went and found a couple of outfits for me to try on. He's great at picking clothes anyway, but it was really sweet of him to do the work for me when I was frazzled.

  • Mike woke up before me this morning (on his day off) and ran to Dunks so I would have some nice iced coffee when I got up this morning :)

    Morning Andy!

He does little things all the time -- like if I see a commercial for those Ghirradelli chocolate squares and say, "mmmm, chocolate," the next day, I find one in my purse. Basically he listens to everything I say I want and tries to get it for me. He's learning that just because I SAY I want it doesn't mean I really do or that I expect it. But he likes to do these little things when he can.

Plus once, he made me a birthday cake. The man who never bakes.

  • I love homemade bread and H will make me a different kind every week. Last week was honey oat. And he uses a dry-erase marker to write cute messages on the bathroom mirror in the mornings.
  • Tim came home from work a few weeks ago in a shiitty mood and started bitching the second he walked through the door.

I looked at him and said "Are you done?"

He turned around, walked out the door, stood there for about a minute and then came back in and said "do-over"

    I thought that was sweet.

I also got random roses last week just because.

I support the "Bitchin'" movement.  Let's make that happen.
