Show Me Some Facebook Foolishness

It's so slow today.  Show me some foolishness you've seen on FB recently.  Uhhh hmmm  I don't even know where to begin with this one...

Rebecca *** ,"I'm tired of people starving theirselves (because they want to) and others wanting to help them. Pouring millions of tax $$$ into mental hospitals and prisons everyday! I say, let anorexics die, kill the mentally ill and kill those who are in prison for high crimes (murder etc.) Some may change their views about me

Who the fvck knows. I try not to engage him, as he's one of my BEST friend's husbands, but I had to google to find out if he was completely pulling that out of his @$$. I couldn't find anything at all. He may, in fact, be crazy.

OK, this is annoying. Not as crazy as other people's, but seriously - enough with the farmville and petville shiiiit.  When you post more than one status update about it, you're deleted or hidden.

Pink - Please tell me you defriended that douchewad chick. I like how her typo saying her "resent post" was deleted actually described her tone perfectly.

Re: Shannon's "friend," that makes me sick to my stomach. We discussed this issue on here recently, I think. The "argument" for breast cancer being preventable by not having abortions is that some drugs used to induce abortions contain hormones that can be related to cancer. Which is only even possibly, remotely true about hormonal drugs being used for late-term abortions, but the connection between those drugs and breast cancer is unfounded. Plus, it doesn't explain all those women who have had breast cancer but never had an abortion. So clearly it's just an agenda pusher for anti-abortion groups, which happens to blame cancer victims. Grrr.

Erin ****** was going to do some reading but ended up updating her blog (Erin's Escape). Now it is hydrocoden time!! ^_^ hope this pain killer works!!

Excerpt from the blog that she updated...

"I am human.  I make mistakes, I have fears, I hurt, I cry, I rejoice, I have fun, I have depression, I have an eating disorder, I am shy, I love to cuddle, I am a flirt, I love holding hands, There is something wrong with my body, I am on birth control and embarissed about it, I have pain killers for the pain that comes around, I act tough, I dont like crying infrount of people, I can be very closed off and not open at all, I love it when people visit"

  • Pink's friend is Rebecca, and Shannon's FB freak's wife is Becky. Are they one in the same?!?!

I'd still have to defriend him, Shannon. Just be honest if you are asked. Say you love your friend, but her husband is BSC and it was polluting your FB. :)

  • pinkpinot I def don't have anything to beat that with! holy sh*t!!

But, I do have something nauseating... Pretty much every single day I get something up on my feed that has my cousin and her 'fiance' going back and forth with this kind of stuff. It's worse when you know the whole thing but i'm sure it's gross for those out of the loop as well:
"babe let me show you a great life togethor everything that i am is because of you, you are my world my love and my best friend, without you i am nothin. i want to be your husband and as my wife, to grow old and look back on the things that we went threw and overcome as a couple. we took life and grabed it by the balls not it doing it to us. i love you so much."

Haha! There's something up with Rebecca's. It's interesting because a lot of good friends of theirs have tried to have serious discussions with them about the shiit they post on fb and how offensive it is. They've told them that it becomes difficult to maintain a positive and respectful view of them when they express themselves so offensively in a public forum. They've tried to explain that it's okay to have an opinion, but you have to be careful when expressing it in a public place, but they both get super defensive about it. They say that it's ridiculous that they can't express their views and still maintain friends. I'm sorry, but people are people and you can't expect to say whatever the hell you want and expect everyone to still love you at the end of the day.

For applications, you should hit 'block' not 'ignore'...this way if someone invites you to do any of the farmville or mob crap, it will not make it to your fb.  If you ignore it, it will just come back the next time someone invites you.
