When do the bride and groom leave the wedding reception?

Hey ladies-
Quick question: I have 1 shuttle to pick guests up after the reception with 2 pick up times. Do the bride and groom leave first or on the second shuttle? I've seen it done both ways but wasn't sure which is the right thing to do. We are having an after party at the hotel too. Thanks!

We have the venue until 11pm and then caterer has clean up from 11-12. So I was thinking the first pick up at 10:30 and the second one at 11. (It is a 15 min trip each way)

We were the last ones out. We also had several shuttles (well, 1 shuttle, 3 trips - 10pm, 10:30pm and 11pm). We hosted the event and the coordinator had things packed and ready to go for us right at the end, we thanked the staff, etc. So it might also depend on that. Mostly, though, we were just caught up talking to lots of people right until the end.

I vote last -- so guests who will not be attending the after party can still enjoy your presence for a little bit longer at the venue
