One of my fiancé's relatives made a request in the comments section of her rsvp and I couldn't help but be a little bit offended. I wanted to get other opinions or points of view since I neither have food allergies nor would ever consider bringing my own food to a wedding. Maybe it's not as rude as I think?
The comment was, "please ask the chef to make me a gluten-free meal. At most weddings we have been able to eat. If not get back to me so I can bring some of my own food in."
Reactions? Our meal is naturally mostly gluten free, I believe - caprese salad, roasted baby potatoes, chicken florentine. She won't be able to eat the cake, but our groom's cake may be made with just almond flour...so it's a possibility. We are already making a pasta entre for those who are vegetarian.
