Yet, now I feel vain.

Today I was contacted by a local photographer, and she wants to do photos of me in my blue dress.

I think this is awesome because I figure the more I wear my dress the more use out of it I get, not to mention, when I'm old and my boobs are hanging down by my knees I can say "look what I was!"

I feel a little weird though, because this will be the 2nd shoot for my dress, and I'm doing another shoot for that book in the spring.

Is this weird/vain/cool?

This photographer works with my wedding planner a lot.  I would have loved for her to do the wedding, but in all honesty, I couldn't afford her.

Shelly -- this is off-topic but I'm reading your bio and I love everything about it! 

If I end up overriding my MOH's "veto" and naming the tables at our reception after zones in Azeroth, it's because of you and your Star Wars tables.  I don't know if "geek chic" is a real phrase, but it totally should be.

It was really fun, Nick and I both love star wars.  I wanted to incorporate it without having a big nerdfest. We had our WP announced to the theme as well.

Oh, and I think that this is the ONE time where I don't think wearing your dress again for a photoshoot is lame.  Self purchased shoots - unnecessary; getting asked to be IN shoots - awesome and I'm jealous of your hotness.
