I've been trying to figure out my cousin's bf's name to address the invites, and this seems to be an impossible task.
I'm not close with my uncle's kids or his wife (I've seen them twice in my life since they live cross country), but my uncle has arranged his furlough from Afghanistan in order to be able to attend my wedding. His kids are flying out to see him, and while he told me they don't expect invitations, I'd feel really rude excluding them. Problem is I can't seem to get an answer on one of the girls' SO and I'm running out of time. I don't want to nag my family, but I'm worried about Canada Post's rotating strikes and the possibility of lengthy delays in mail deliveries.
I know I'm supposed to include the actual name of the guest if it's a SO, but since I've tried, can I just address the invite "Cousin and guest"? I feel rude, but I don't know what else to do.
