Loving the Military Family

I'm getting married to a Marine and we want to let guests know that we are fine with them wearing their dress uniforms to our wedding. What is a good way to tell our guests about that?

I would think just by word of mouth. It's typically not appropriate to include anything about attire in the inviations unless it's Black Tie. I don't know much about military formality, is it pretty standard for people to show up anywhere like weddings in their dress uniforms?
