    Are all of the people invited to the wedding?  You should only invite people to the shower if they are also invited to the wedding.

    At 3 days out, it's a little late to be inviting them, IMHO.

    If people who have sent gifts already come to the shower, just thank them for their gift so everyone will "know" that they already sent it along.

    Open the gifts as you receive them.

    If someone sent a gift and they weren't invited to the shower, I would assume it was a wedding gift they sent.  Rules are the same.  Open now, send Thank You note, don't use until after the wedding.

    I agree with Smokey, at three days out, it's way to late to invite anyone.
