Registry not on invite

Ok, so I've read that it's impolite to have your registry info anywhere on the invite, although I always see it on invitations I've received in the past.

Anyway, this is what my invite is going to have on the bottom of the direction cards: "For more information on accomodations and the couples' registries, please visit www.ourknotwebsite..."  Suffice?

Thanks!

Re: Registry not on invite

  • Don't mention the registry AT ALL.  Just say "For additional information" and give the website.
  • No. Do not even mention registries on invites

Just put "for more information see X.com"

  • No mention of gifts or registry anywhere on the formal invitation!

You may list your wedding website, but do not mention on the invitation that registry information is there.
  • Sounds good - I'll change it so it doesn't mention registries. Thanks ladies!

  • We didn't even put the website on the invitation. I ordered free business cards from vistaprint, had my invitation designer make me a matching design, and put it on those in the envelope. I don't know that it matters really though, I just felt like it all needed to be separate.

  • Our website information was not on the actual invitation either, it was in the invitation packet.
  • Ours was also on a different piece of paper.  I think that OP said that she would put it on the directions card and not the actual invitation.
