I sent out my Save-The-Dates too soon before I did my wedding research and am now facing the reality of having WAY too many people coming to the wedding, which is an outdoor backyard wedding in a relatively small yard.
I HAVE to cut some people from the list, but want to do it as tactfully as possible. I am thinking of inviting some of my not-so-close girlfriends to a big bachelorette party in lieu of having them come to the ceremony.
I know this is breaking every etiquette rule out there, but I don't know what else to do. I would like to invite some people to the reception only, but as it's in the same place as the ceremony, this won't solve the space issue.
What are your thoughts? The wedding is not until August 13 and I will be sending out invitations in early June.
