Hey!

I have a cold.  I should have made soup for lunch, but instead, I am making a souffle and salad because I've been reading Julia Child's newest biography, and I felt inspired.  We'll eat soup for dinner instead.

Hi!   

I just got my pro pics back (nice album and CD with all of our images)!  I spent most of yesterday on Shutterfly doing parent albums for both sides -- super easy, and only $50 each for 35 pages per album.   

I also added the pic in my siggy:-)  I've been trying to change my avatar, but even though it says it's changed, the old one is still showing up....

And, Hubs and I are getting ready to watch the Miami Dolphins play.  We're all decked out in our Dolphin's jerseys:-)  

ETA:  Avatar is showing up now:-)  Guess it just took a few minutes.

That sucks, man.  I'm impressed with your souffle cooking.  I don't cook when I'm sick.  I'm far too lazy, haha. 

I'm about to have Mexican leftovers for lunch, and I have Thai pork in the crockpot for dinner.  Nothing too exciting, but it's better than our former normal game day pizza.

I'm here. I had to get up before the sun today to fly out west for work. I'm in Denver on my layover. My allergies are insanity. I have to order flowers for tomorrow. MOH's mom ended up passing away on Friday evening and since I'm stuck on this work trip I can't make it to her funeral. Sucks, so I feel like I should at the very least send a bright bouquet for the funeral home.

Oh, I like the Denver airport.  It's one of my favorite places for a layover.  How long is it?

Denver Airport has my favorite airport Taco Shop -- Que Bueno!  I used to have memorized what gate it was at, but now I don't remember....B52 I think?

I don't love cooking when I'm sick, but I do feel  better today (except for the sore throat part).  And H is useless.  He probably couldn't make me a pb&j if I was on my deathbed.  Since we have no decent delivery of comfort food, I have to cook.  Sigh.

It's just about 2 hours. I've got about an hour left. It took me forever to get to the gate, since we landed at like b20 and I had to hike all the way to b84. Teeny tiny plane awaits me. I am hungry but waiting until I land to eat. There's a BBQ place I like that I think I'm going to stop at.

I went ahead and got my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. Yum! Plus the caffeine will be useful during the 3 hour drive I have ahead of me once this flight is over.

Mica feel better!  I decided to iron all my work clothes today which is a huge accomplishment since I hate to iron.  Then I tried everything on and organized the closet.  I have a few pairs of pants that need to be tailored, rather than buying new clothes like I wish I could.  I'm going to get to the gym in a few minutes when dh gets back from the store with my car.

I slept until 10 ( apparently I was tired), played on the internet, and now I'm watchiing football.  I mean, I haven't even showered.  Ha.

Box Kitty just climbed inside H's sweatshirt (the sweatshirt he is wearing) and is laying in it with her head in his sleeve/armpit.  WTF cat?

Both kittens are passed out on their cat tree.  Boy cat must be exhausted from keeping us up all night.

Naughty boy kitten!  Box Kitty wasn't too bad last night.  She's never quite as naughty on the weekends.

We kitten new kitten on Thursday!  I think we're going to name her Siri, but we want to meet her before we decide for sure.

Maybe-Siri is black with a tiny white tuft on her chest (like seriously, 10 hairs, maybe).  And she's itty bitty.  I hope she grows to a decent size.  If she's itty bitty always, she'll be bullied by big Box Kitty forever.

I surely will!  She's a tiny cutie.  I hope Box Kitty doesn't try to kill her.

Box Kitty is now snore/cooing.  She's flipped around to have her paws up at the sleeve and her head down by the bottom hem.  She's SO weird.  Every time she moves it looks like H is about to produce an alien.

Thanks, that's all the productivity that will come out of today.  The gym is accomplished and now I'm going to watch the rest of the Pats game.  I love that your kitty is all snuggled up like that.  Our dog wants nothing to do with us most of the time, but when he's tired he snuggles like crazy.  And because I will AW my dog all the time:

He is hiding in the cucumbers in the garden.

Aw, Siri kitty sounds so cute.

I wish kittens didn't have to grow up.  Isabella is so precious right now, I'd love to keep her at her six month size.

I miss Box Kitten too.  However, you do have a little less naughtiness to look forward to as they grow up   As frustrated I get with grown up Box Kitty's naughties, I think back to her kitten days and I'm glad they're over, even if she was adorable.

I do look forward to when Pepo grows up.  He is an asshole of a kitten.  He's lucky he's so cute.  But Isabella is a doll, and she's tiny.

Watching the Jets kickass and wondering if my freezer is dying again....it's a tempermental b*tch...We may be bringing our freezer items next door to the ILs freezer soon. My H is actually at the game and I believe he will be coming home sunburned since already told me to get the aloe cream ready. We also have to do laundry later. On the plus side, the fridge is full of leftovers from a party yesterday so dinner is super easy!
