Re: There goes my healthcare.

• It was discussed below in a thread called "Big Day in MA."

I am not seeing it. Maybe a glitch?

Edit- I found it, but it says the last post was 3 days ago...

• Yeah, that's a glitch. The last post was probably an hour or 2 ago.

• I just find it interesting that nobody seems to be talking much about the fact he posed damn near nude in a mag a few years back as anything other than a punchline, or a "ha ha look at the 80's hair so funny!". I think we can all agree that, regardless of the party, if a female candidate had done that her career would be over. Ridiculous double standards.

i agree about the double standard. it doesn't bother me if men or women posed near nude, but society always holds it against the women and not the men.
• See, I think they did try to throw it against him but it just didn't work.

I agree that there's a double standard but IMO, he was by far the better choice.

But if you read my posts in the thread below, you'll see that too.

FWIW, I don't believe that this healthcare bill is being handled appropriately AT ALL and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for the public's overwhelming distaste.

The weird thing about Massachusetts is that they don't care at all about scandals like that. Barney Frank had a lover who was a drug runner or something at one time and his constituents are like, "Eh, stuff happens." Also, the Kennedys. Granted, I'm not sure what they would think if it were a woman.

• Meh, I don't know how you can say, "I can't believe they didn't think of that photo," when they continued to reelect Ted Kennedy.
