It's icky and blustery out so we've moved into hibernating mode.  Only plan is to make that meatball sub casserole recipe someone posted a week or so ago.

Right now, I'm still in bed.  No big plans for the day.  DH is coming back from Jersey in a bit and I think we need to really commit to Lost today so we can get through the 5th season before February 2nd.

amoro - I've noticed that it occasionally does that.  Either shows too many posts or in a long thread where I know there have been many posts, only list a few.  So weird.

Well, he gave us the word "idiosyncrasy" but he really didn't. He said idiosyncrasies, which we spelled correctly.

But then he said the word was idiosyncrasy. Even the people in the audience were all like DOOD. That isn't what you said, but whatever.

SO because we got THAT word wrong we were tied at the end of the final round with one other team, so we went to sudden death in which members take turns writing the word and handing it to him. My partner got the word entrepreneurial, and forgot the r after the p, so we were out. STUPID.

I'm here now! Watching monster quest and being lazy. I gave DH his birthday present this morning, 3 weeks early, but oh well, I was excited. I got him/us a new grill!

We're also going to Target and HomeGoods later, oh how I love those stores!

Im here, now. I just finally got out of bed, I was playing with my dog for half an hour - he hates it when you move your hand or foot  under the sheets and he will pounce and nibble at it and start trying to dig through the sheets to get to it. Then he pounced and threw his full body weight at my elbow and it was game over because it really hurt.

I'm here. DH had to be at church early this morning and when I woke up to get and get ready, I found out that I had a huge headache. No church for me today.

That is ridiculous about the spelling bee, but like you said, it was for charity.

In other news, I've officially begun to learn how to knit. I know the basics in crocheting, and I have a friend who knows how to knit, and we have a friend that wanted to learn, so we got together and taught each other. I'm about 15 rows (out of 1.5 million) into my scarf.

I'm here!  I am waiting for H to shower so he can go get us Chipotle!  I'm watching Wet Hot American Summer while I wait.

No big plans for the day.  We were talking about driving to Ikea, about 2 hours away, to look at bookshelves and possibly other stuff, but we've decided to visit ikea.com instead.  I don't really want to spend 4 hours in a car!  I love lazy Sundays.
