I am normally just a lurker, but after reading some different posts on my wedding month board it got me thinking... do people normally just have one shower?

Some people have one, some people have more than one, it really depends on who offers to throw one for you.  I had two - one here in LA, and one back in CT where a lot of my family is.

I think it really depends but normally I think one or two.  Sometimes each side of the family throws one or even co-workers, church members, etc. throw one.

I should add that many have no shower. If someone doesn't offer to throw you a shower, you dont get one.
