Hair Stylist to get invite?

My hair stylist has been doing my hair for 5 years.  She will be coming to the site of my wedding and reception to do my hair as well.  What is the etiquette on attendance at the ceremony and reception.  Is it proper to send an invite or do hair stylists just know they are there as part of the preparation and not attendance?

Re: Hair Stylist to get invite?

  • Are you friends with her or do you have only a business relationship with her?  If you aren't friends outside the salon, I wouldn't invite her.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

This.  I think it only makes sense to invite her if you also have a personal relationship with her as well as a commercial one.
  • I agree with Addie. If your relationship is only business then I would not invite her.

</div><div>We do not hang out other than when I see her at the salon.  It is a kind and friendly "business" relationship but I think it does make it easier to determine if we hang out after hours and we do not.  Hopefully she will "understand" when she sees that I need her there just to get the hair done.  Thanks again for all the responses.</div>
