I have 1 week to finish a big asss project I have barely started.  I have no motivation to work on it.  Someone please kick me in the head and tell me to do my goddamn project that is 40% of my grade.

yuck, I feel you.  I have a 10 page paper due Thursday, of which I have 2 pages done.  I can't get motivated either.

Really? You can't see the importance of this project and kick your own ass into gear? 40% of your grade is not as important as sitting on your ass and looking at TK? REALLY?! I'm not sure you should do it at all, if your priorities are that screwed up. Might as well go see what Perez Hilton is up to tonight. That's how lame you are.

Once tomorrow afternoon arrives, you'll  likely have all sorts of time to get it finished....

Just do something small; a reference list, or setting up the document for when you're ready to type. I find that I get things done when I force myself to do something mindless first, as it gets me thinking about the rest of it (and realising that it is not so overwhelming and scary!).

Good news!  I figured out I pretty much already did one part for another assignment.  Thank friggin' God.  Only 8.5 more sections left.
