So I have a guest list question...
I'm honestly not sure no the etiquette on this so please let me know.
My fiance and I want to cut our wedding guest list down by about 20-25 people. My mom pointed out that if I just invite aunts and uncles from my stepfathers side and not cousins that I could eliminate 10 people right there. (My step fathers family was a big part of my life growing up)
So my question is this...if I invite one or two cousins from this side do I have to invite them all? My mom says it is rude and I have to invite all or none. My issue is that I talk to a few of them but the others I never see and never talk to. I couldn't even tell you whats going on with their lives.
Please let me know what the appropriate thing to do here is. I'd rather invite them all if I have to and cut other places than not have the ones I am close with at the wedding.
