I have read lots of posts regarding gaps between the ceremony and reception, but I've never been to a wedding that had one. FI and i just got an invite to his cousin's wedding in June - 4 hour gap. What are we supposed to do during this time? Am I supposed to change my clothes - one outfit for church, one for reception? I'm just not sure what the usual protocol is. Like I don't want to go home and lounge around for hours in between, but I don't want to spend 12 hours in dressup clothes either!
